Detroit Salon Talks Program: Detroit & African Art

Detroit is home to Black artists whose work reflects their journeys and life experiences and are part of important museum and private collections, including works shown at some of the world's leading art fairs. Detroit also has one of the most significant museum collections of classical African Art in the United States. Hear from curators and experts on Detroit’s role as a nexus for diaspora and African art, and how it can expand the conversation on the international stage.
