Minnesota Street Project Open Studios & Conversation

  • Minnesota Street Project 1240 Minnesota Street San Francisco, CA, 94107 United States (map)

Join Andrew Wilson, Ashara Ekundayo, Taraneh Hemami and Demitri Broxton in conversation around the importance of independent residencies that center and support Queer/Black/Brown/Asian artists and culture bearers. In this conversation we will talk about how we identified our folks, what calls us to this work and how these types of interventions/institutions support and undergird arts communities both locally and nationally. By centering the fugitive and liminal, we will think about their subversive power as we endeavor to hold space for our stories and communities.
