George Jackson Day | Political Prisoners & Prison Abolition | FREE EVENT

The first annual George Jackson Day is slated for August 5, 2023 from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM at the Dr. Huey P. Newton Center for Research & Action at 1427 Broadway, Oakland, CA. The purpose of the event is to highlight the life and teachings of George Jackson, to inform the public on the status of the prison abolition movement, and to offer steps the community can take to continue Jackson’s radical legacy.
