Register for our 4th AfroPortals Community Archiving Day co-presented by Artist As First Responder, Bay Area Lesbian Archives, East Side Cultural Center’s Community Archival Resource Project (CARP), the Sogorea Te Land Trust, and the Black Panther Party Museum. This digital archive day aims to preserve the histories of Black, Brown, and Indigenous Musicians, Dancers, Theatre Artists, & Cultural Educators in the Bay Area.
Do you have materials & memories documenting your life, family, community? Dust them off and share them with the community & our archives! These items will be digitized and become a part of EastSide Arts Alliance’s CARP and the new AfroPortals Digital Archive curated by AAFR, ensuring that our collective history is preserved for future generations.
📍Book a free appointment to join us on Saturday, November 14th from 11AM -4 PM at EastSide Cultural Center at the link in our bio.
**$50 participant gift cards + Lyft vouchers to Eastside are available upon request
