Emotional Intelligence: A Workshop & Panel Discussion

Emotional Intelligence is a guided yet open conversation series designed to explore, strengthen, and celebrate the relationships between black men, women, and individuals of all backgrounds.

Through honest dialogue and shared experiences, we will explore the dynamics of friendships, family relationships, and, of course, romantic relationships. To kick things off, the event will feature two interactive workshop options centered on topics that spark curiosity and conversation around sex, intimacy, pleasure, and love.

Play Things: BDSM Toys, Tools, & the Psychology of Play: By Lyn Patterson

An interactive introduction to BDSM toys and tools that explores not only what they are and how they’re used, but the psychological experiences they can create. Through demonstration and conversation, we’ll explore how different tools can engage anticipation, power, surrender, sensory focus, vulnerability, ritual, trust, and control.
